Segmented winding machines are indispensable key equipment in modern motor manufacturing and are widely used in the precision winding of hairpin flat wire motors, round wire stators, transformers and other coils. In order to ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment, improve production efficiency and extend service life, daily maintenance and regular maintenance are essential. This article will systematically introduce the daily maintenance points and operation suggestions of segmented winding machines.
1. Inspection before equipment operation
Before each start-up operation, the operator should conduct a preliminary inspection of the winding machine:
Tightness of mechanical parts: Check whether the transmission system, spindle, clamps, etc. are loose, and use tools to tighten them if necessary;
Lubrication system: Confirm whether the lubrication of each moving part is good, add lubricating oil or grease to avoid wear of parts due to dry grinding;
Electrical connection: Check whether the power connection is reliable, and whether the emergency stop button, sensor and safety door are working properly;
Software parameter calibration: Check whether the winding program, segment number setting, tension parameters, etc. are correct to ensure product consistency.
2. Precautions during operation
Maintain a clean environment: The winding machine should be placed in a dust-free, dry, and well-ventilated workshop to prevent dust and metal debris from entering the moving mechanism;
Real-time monitoring of the tension system: The tension device must be kept sensitive. If it is found to be jumping or unstable, it should be stopped and checked immediately;
Remove waste wire and debris in time: Wire ends and winding waste may be wrapped around the spindle or sensor, and should be cleaned regularly to avoid jamming or burning the motor.
3. Regular maintenance items
It is recommended to perform in-depth maintenance once a month or quarter, including:
Guide rail and lead screw maintenance: Clean the guide rail surface and refill grease, check for jamming, wear or abnormal noise;
Electronic control system detection: Check whether the PLC, servo drive, and encoder signal transmission are normal, and recalibrate if necessary;
Winding tooling inspection: Check whether the winding mold, fixture, and wire guide are worn or deformed, and replace them in time to ensure winding accuracy;
Tension system calibration: Use a standard dynamometer to recalibrate the tension control system to ensure product winding consistency.
4. Personnel training and safe operation
Equipment maintenance is inseparable from the standardized operation of operators. Enterprises should organize operation training regularly to make employees familiar with the equipment structure, understand the basic maintenance process, and master the abnormal handling methods. In addition, all maintenance work should be carried out in a power-off and shutdown state to ensure the safety of people and machines.
